Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks Gym

Working with the architectural division of the Los Angeles Department of Public Works, the Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks Gem has been renovated using MEP design by GBE. This 14,000 sf gym was retrofitted with new electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems with an eye towards future expansion. The building’s size allows for full-court basketball and the electrical system accommodates a state-of-the-art scoreboard. Additionally, the adjacent enclosed patio area was designed to be multi-purpose.
