This “urban village” redevelopment project tagged GBE to be the overall MEP design-engineering firm. The West Hollywood Gateway consists of 257,000 sf of anchor stores, retailers, offices and restaurants on two levels and more than 1,000 parking spaces on two subterranean levels. GBE worked closely with the developer and the tenants on establishing power and systems connectivity that would best integrate with the individual needs of the tenants and allow discrete utility supplies to each tenant. At $70 million, this project is the largest redevelopment project in West Hollywood to date.
