Utilizing sustainable design, the Malibu Lumber Retail Center repurposes three existing structures to maintain the history of the location. Many of the materials are those that were once sold at the original lumberyard and are incorporated into the construction, along with low-water planting, and rain-harvesting/heat-mitigating planter walls.
