GBE tackled the renovation to this seven-story, 486-room hotel that boasts a 1930s-style lobby and restaurant. In a move to upgrade the appearance of the hotel and maximize its guest services, the building systems were updated throughout. This allowed for new exterior signage as well as improvements to all public and common areas including lobby, dining/bar areas, 60,000 sf of ballrooms, restrooms, and an outdoor pool dining area. Improvements and amenities like wall-mounted lights, sconces, and poolside tree lighting helped set the “mood” of the locale; exterior poolside showers and new fixtures enhanced the feeling of luxury.
