Century Plaza Hotel

In 1999, the Century Plaza Hotel decided that they needed to rejuvenate their over 185,000 sf of public spaces which included the support offices, back of the house support spaces, the entrance lobby, the retail areas, the spa and fitness areas, the restaurants and the outdoor spaces. The construction was to be completed in as short a time as possible while the hotel was in full operation. GBE successfully completed the MEP design to meet the hotel requirements and worked with five separate contractors who worked on the project simultaneously to minimize the construction time. GBE also worked with the hotel staff to commission the hotel once the construction was complete.
