GBE provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design for a new 80,000 sf two-story stand-alone administration building which will act as a City Hall for the Morongo tribe. The facility consists of a tribal council chamber with an electronic voting system built into each chair, a courtroom, a jury room, a judge chamber, a drug testing facility, a bailiff security room, meeting/conference rooms, and administrative offices. GBE also performed a central plant study to provide heating, cooling, standard power, and emergency power for the planned Administration Building and Council Chamber and for future expansions to tribal buildings in the complex. System studies include an electric chiller, an absorption chiller, a hybrid chilled water system and co-generation.
