Los Angeles City and County Parks

Throughout its history, GBE has been involved in many parks and recreation projects. GBE’s efforts have included electrical design for fire alarm systems, emergency power and electrical load totalization. GBE has designed lighting for basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, parking lots, and walkways. Plumbing assignments have included the “Wet Design Fountain” at Confluence Park, as well as restroom plumbing, a horse-watering station, a water circulation piping system, a park pool and pool house and plumbing upgrades for men’s and women’s showers and toilets. GBE has also shown its design acumen in replacing the main air handling unit and the condensing unit serving a recreation building and in changing the existing multi-zone system to a VAV system.
